Everyone there was very polite, their food was pretty decent. Even though everyone’s English was very good they were delighted that I spoke some Portuguese to them. Overall very positive stay. My only take away was the construction noise near by and the planes flying overhead.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous! And the restaurant had incredible food and service. Overall, this place is lacking in nothing. I plan to return again some day.

Accommodations were excellent---a must stay upon return. Staff patient, knowledgable, inviting, and caring (especially "Diego"). OUTSTANDING breakfast. GREAT location. Close to waterways for landmarks, walks, photos, restraunts. Indoor pool and steam room unique---great place to end your day.

Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). We stayed for 2 days after our cruise. We arrive early. Front desk was welcoming and offered us an available room. We declined and said we’d wait for our reserved room on the upper floor. We toured Lisbon and returned to Lumen in the mid afternoon. Here’s when the service was exceptional. Front desk was friendly; offered us breakfast at 10 euros and a 30% restaurant discount. Absolutely love this place, the people, and the location. You walk down a nice hill from the airport to get there! Where else would you want?

Excellent hotel, very clean and new. Very good sound isolation so rooms are quiet. Good Windows too that do a great job blocking out some of the plane flyovers and vehicle flowcan occur in the neighborhood. Very good location, right in front of the Metro stop. On top of it all the breakfast is very good.

The hotel was safe and in a very convenient location for shopping and eating. I would stay there again.

I thought this hotel was perfect for families! The bunk bed rooms are ideal and a great use of space for our family of 4. The kids thought it was really fun and we had plenty of room for all. We also loved the rooftop pool and bar space, especially after a long day of touring around. It’s very family friendly and convenient. We were able to walk to several restaurants and had some fun shopping in the neighborhood. I would highly recommend this hotel if you like staying away from city center...

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Food, staff and atmosphere were wonderful. Will definitely stay again. Easy walk to the square and to a few popular spots.
