“Convenient location, clean rooms, free onsite parking. Location is about a mile from the Capitola Wharf (walkable). The complimentary breakfast includes hot items, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, or sausage patties as well as the usual assortment of pastries, cereals and bread and bagels.”

“Clean room and friendly staff.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful! Beautiful views and the bed was super comfortable! We stayed in the Rose Garden Suite!”

“A quaint hotel right smack dab in the middle of town…the free taxi to Shadowbrook was a plus! We walked everywhere which we appreciated as we enjoy a cocktail every now and then.”

“It was very good. Would recommend staying here.”

“Clean nice place. No balcony in our room, nor kitchen but fridge and microwave. Lighting a bit too blue- sort of florescent. Proximity to beach hard to beat.”

“Perfect location with a great view; the rooms are nicely decorated and have a warm feel. There is a small balcony to sit and watch the sunset. The Venetians of Capitola provide the feeling of being in Europe. Just amazing. So close to the beach and a nice little shower to wash the sand off your feet. Love the touchless checkin flow and everyone is so nice.”

“The location and view were awesome . All the front staff and valet guys were friendly and helpful . Loved it .. Cheers”

“Absolutely charming little cottage just a short walk up from the beach. The beach itself is great, though busy. Lots of places you can walk to, including a local beer garden, and Starbucks is less than a block away for morning coffee. Extremely clean, though the property is a little older. Very quaint. Parking is limited, but it wasn't a probelm during my stay. Would return.”

“First time staying here. The outside covered patio was nice. Restaurant/bar was also very nice. Nice touch was the morning coffee and pastries. Room was functional. Looking at location as possible host for conference is a possibility.”

“Day/night shift lady who checked us in (I believe her name was Sheryl) was very welcoming, patient while I was looking for my card, and let us know about local things happening in the area. Breakfast buffet was good! Staff kept everything well stocked. Pool wasn’t heated the first night but I believe it was the second night (when we did not get to go swimming). Lots of shopping centers in the area. Property was well kept.”

“Good but outdated”
