Ibis Styles Brisbane Elizabeth Street

"I spent 6 days at the Ibis in August. The location is ideal ... not far from the Casino, next to the mall, Murphys Pub and surrounded by food eateries, shops and a food hall. A perfect location. The hotel is clean but is aging a bit with loose bathroom fittings, scuffmarks on the wall, and the carpet not as new as it once was. The staff are friendly and excellent> I was upgraded from arrival, and overall enjoyed staying there. Breakfast is very comprehensive and tasty, though it needs a bit of variety from day to day and is well worth the $35 price tag. I asked the chef to make me an omelette which can be done readily. However on asking twice for chopped onion in an omelette, I was disappointed that the chef declined my request. I have asked this before in Macau and it was no problem.. On Saturday morning I couldnt find a table to dine at.. there seemed to be only one person working and the used plates had not been removed. These are probably only isolated instances but were dampeners for my stay. The consierge at the front desk went beyond his line of duty to help remedy a transport development that happened on the day I left. Over I enjoyed my stayed and will stay there again, if and when I travel to Brisbane next time."

"Great apartment, great communal areas and perfect location. I would only mark them down due to the disappointing quantity of cleaning supplies allocated. 1 sachet of dishwashing powder, 1 sachet of dishwashing detergent and 3 rubbish bags for a 5 night stay (i assume 1 night stays get the same quantity so it's a bit confusing). They mention that if you want more you need to purchase from reception. Not sure why they can't just have a refillable bottle of dishwashing liquid. Otherwise we had a great stay and staff were always lovely and helpful."

"Great spot. Bar and jacuzzi have a great vibe. Unfortunately a new build happening next door so early morning machine noises woke us up VERY early, so maybe ask for a room not near that side."

"This hotel is right in the Brisbane Mall, having the perfect location to city shopping, Southbank, and of course Suncorp Stadium. This is our 3rd year staying at this hotel. The staff are great and the rooms are super clean."

"When booking the hotel, it did NOT mention there was no pool or spa. These are the type of things my family enjoy which was very disappointing. For this reason, I will not be returning."

"We had a lovely stay at The Langham! Check-in and check-out were smooth, lobby was amazing and luxurious, the room was huge and amazing with a bedroom X ensuite, a common toilet and shower and a study. We also had a wraparound balcony with stunning views of Nerang River and Broadbeach. Amentiies were great. Pools both indoor and outdoor outstanding. This hotel delivered the luxury that The Langham brand promises. The best add on was their Whatsapp support line - was using it even prior to our arrival to confirm details of our booking, plus used it to request blankets and complimentary water and finally clarificafions re our checkout. Location-wise very close to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, it had food options too. We genuinely had five star experience."
