“Very pleased with our stay”

“Upon arrival (slightly early) I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception; very helpful. Check-in was quick & efficient. Good sized room & very comfy bed. Compact but super-clean & functional bathroom, with a great powerful shower. High quality towels & linens throughout. Room amenities were of a high standard, plenty of hanging space for clothes, plus drawers for my bits. Spacious desk/workspace, with plenty of power outlets. “This was the very best hotel and staff. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly, and they couldn't do enough for you. They would do anything in their power to make your stay a pleasurable experience. I would strongly recommend the stay, with the Marina literally two minutes away, and the town center a 10 minute walk away. My only problem was the food. It's not the best, and don't have the breakfast you'll be wasting your money, it has very poor quality ingredients. You'd be better off eating...

“Staff were great, room was tidy. Only downside was the breakfast. Wife is gluten free and although the breakfast was labelled really well……they cross contaminated the breakfast items at the server. The chef was really helpful and cooked a separate breakfast but the cross contamination should never had happened in the first place. Putting gluten sausages with bacon to keep warm is a no no.”

“Beautiful traditional beer garden. Great steak for dinner. Very comfortable period room. Lovely breakfast. Most importantly very relaxed, helpful and friendly staff- looking forward to a return visit.”

“The hotel isn't sound proof at all. It's a hotel made out of a large house. While i was staying, it sounded like the guys next door were in my room because i could hear their every step and chat and felt really insecure because of that. The bathroom and toilet are shared which i didn't expect at all. At least they are kept clean and there's daily cleaning service. The room had a basin. There was no shower gaun though towels were provided. They had good heating on.”

“Great find for the airport stopover. We spent the night here then drove 5 minutes to the silver zone, we would have considered leaving our car here however the taxi ride was expensive.”
