“Quirky with some lovely staff in the evening in the restaurant. The gardens are also beautiful but small things could really enhance the hotel to get more from its potential. My stay improved after a few small disappointments. The room was warm and quiet. The meal on the second night was excellent (first night's green curry with poppadoms was less so and lacking in flavour).”

“This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay .”
