Firstly, a credit to the staff, all of whom were fantastically polite and personable, providing simply great service.
The vintage lift was a unique joy with the communal areas continuing the slightly nostalgic theme.
The bar and dining vibe was relaxed, quiet and combined with great food and attentive staff made for a relaxed breakfast, evening drinks and dinner. Incidentally, dining provides for great views over the harbour.

“Great location next to trains, and a fantastic pub/hotel with a very welcoming & friendly vibe. I wasn't expecting breakfast so this was a bonus to me! That said, rather pricey and not too good at being environmentally minded (single use plastics for soap and tiny bottles for example).”

“We had to stay here onky for 1 night. Unfortunately a damage to our motorcycle obliged to stay in Gorran Haven for 4 nights. The accomodation in hotel was perfect but without a rental car the place is isolated, nice but not for long stays.”
“Hosts are very friendly and accommodating making guests their priority. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety to choose from. Good location with only a 5 minute walk to the beach promenade and for visits to other beauty spots.”
