Southwest Coast Florida, Florida hotel rooms at the Independent

"The room was clean and some staff members were helpful. However the second floor had a strong smell (possibly mold)? Breakfast was ok. The floors in our room were not cleaned (dirty socks and feet) the day we got there. They also did not clean our room while we stayed even after we asked. "

"Our stay at the Carlisle Inn was wonderful! The woman at the front desk was very pleasant, informative, and hospitable. The lobby was inviting and beautiful!!! Our room was clean, and it was a bonus having 2 sinks! I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again!"

"We recently stayed at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa for 5 days and overall had a wonderful family vacation. The beach and pool area are absolutely beautiful, and the sunset views were outstanding; definitely the highlight of our stay. There were a few downsides, though. Our room had a musty smell, and one of the doors on the TV stand in front of the mini fridge was broken. The hotel also feels a bit outdated in some areas, especially considering the price point. In addition, the restaurant prices were extremely expensive for what was offered. Even with those issues, my family and I truly enjoyed our time there and made great memories. The location and views make it worth visiting, and we would definitely go back."
