"Motel wasnt the most beautiful. The tiles in the bathroom needed replaceing - the thermostat had a note on it to use the mini split instead, it smelled of smoke and years gone by , but you cant beat the "mind your own business" vibe, the location, and the overall odd charm. "

"Our stay was excellent, we received the text for the entry code into this smart hotel, it is unmanned, but we found the room clean, warm modern, it was excellent, no complaints . The heat is baseboard and silent, the air conditioner, which appears to be brand new, is multifunction, and is wall mounted, all amenities in this hotel room were top-of-the-line. We really liked it. We watched the World Series on a super big TV in a super big king bed. There was springwater, coffee, tea, granola bars, and even the soaps were high-end. Our entry TEXT also included the code for the great room which had plenty to offer, and a peek into the backyard showed the gazebo with what appeared to be a gas fireplace , a fire pit, horseshoes, dog, run area, real nice."

"We love this place and the owner Jenn! We are coming back, hopefully soon! We had fun in the tavern down stairs and slept like babies all weekend in our room. This place is one of a kind! We’ve stayed at dozens of places throughout the Adirondacks and this one is by far, our favorite! "

"I stayed here by myself to fish Thirteenth Lake. That was a short commute by car. The bite was slow but the lodge was comfortable and well-run. It's remote with no other options for meals nearby. The menu is limited and cocktails are expensive, but the food is good. The summer rate for the room without a view was pretty cheap for the region and amenities. The lodge is part of a property association including private homes that share the dock and beach. Remote but otherwise easy access to I-87. Cellular sketchy at best but Wi-Fi was good."
