Upstate New York, New York hotel rooms at the Motel 6

"I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel’s customer service. I had an issue with my account, and the front desk kept avoiding responsibility, saying they couldn’t adjust the charge until another department reviewed the ticket. There is no direct customer service phone number — everything is handled through SMS and email, which made resolving the issue incredibly frustrating. Communication was slow and unhelpful. Honestly, this was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had at a hotel."

"Room was partially cleaned, there was fake money and chip bags under the bed that had clearly been there for a while. Table and dresser drawer in room were broken. Didn't want to seem difficult at the time, but it was not the experience we were looking for. As soon as we woke up we checked out 7 am didn't wait for check out time. Staff needs updated training on proper cleaning . There was so much dust and dirt on the headboard and bed skirt smh.... Not what I expected as a first time customer!! The plus was that our room was located near the entrance where we were able to park and the microwave was directly outside of our room."

"I wanna say for the price for your paying you’re getting what you get. It was the cheapest place in the area. at first when we booked online we couldn’t believe it, the pictures were great the place looked like a lot of family fun. When we first arrived and checked in we went into our room. It was decent you could definitely tell it was worn, but again the price was a selling point for us. Upon walking the room we found someone’s clipped toenails ALL over the carpet, the bed sheets were stained, and when we picked up the blankets to see the underneath of the bed their was someone’s leftover food. I called down and immediately and asked for a room change, they had to send someone to inspect the room. Of course he did and they changed us. Before even unpacking for the second room we did another walk through. The floor was cleaner and the beds were not stained. So we decided just to stay were three hours from home and cannot afford a new place. After giving my newborn a bath I grabbed the first towel and it had burn holes all the way through it. Okay, minor, I can’t keep complaining, so I asked for new towels. We go down to the pool area and the kiddie area was closed due to the state shutting it down, alright that’s okay we were looking forward to it and no where on their site did it say it was going to be closed. If you like microwaved eggs and sausage the breakfast is definitely for you, it just wasn’t good. there was an older couple having sex in the hot tub. "
