“The staff was great and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. The decor was outdated but comfortable. I felt like I was staying in my childhood home. It felt more like a Bed and Breakfast. So I liked it and would definitely stay there again when I am in the area. It's a plus that the rooms have air conditioning and private bathrooms!! Beautiful area too, by the lake.”

“The room was large, comfortable and clean. This is a unique historic property and has been restored/maintained to the original condition, so don’t expect a Holiday Inn, but the rooms have all the modern conveniences. My bathroom was completely modern and most importantly, clean. I was there mostly at night and it seemed I had the whole place to myself, which was a little spooky, but there are many historical exhibits to explore that are open to explore even at night. “한국분이라면 절대 가지마세요 몇 달 전부터 예약했던 곳이라 안심했는데, 당일 아침에 확인 메일 한 번 보내고 당일 점심시간까지 답장 못했다고 일방적으로 취소당했습니다 여행중에 인터넷이 안되어 메일을 확인하지 못했던건데, 이런사실을 알지 못하고 숙소에 갔더니 문은 잠겨있고 아무도 없어서 두 시간이나허비하고 결국 급히 다른 숙소를 잡았어요 그리고 동네가 넘 우중충합니다 사진이 이뻐서 예약했는데 낚인것 같네요ㅠ”
