"I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! The hotel obviously has all the charm of such an old place and would be awesome for a romantic getaway (although I was traveling alone on this trip!). There is lots of parking, which is free. "Lovely hotel, we went for a family wedding. The staff were so lovely and the rooms a good size and comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious and they brought us vege sausages which were lovely."

My stay improved after a few small disappointments. The room was warm and quiet. The meal on the second night was excellent (first night's green curry with poppadoms was less so and lacking in flavour)."

"Excellent hotel, huge room with separate bath and walk in rain shower. The overall room was comfortable with some nice additions such as a Nespresso machine and a smart TV. Restaurant was good, bit pricey for what it is but acceptable. Recommended!"
