"We've been coming to semiahmoo for many years, but sadly this latest trip was less than perfect. The place seemed in disarray, and while dining options have always been limited, this trip was especially challenging. The first night we couldn't get a table as we checked in after 7 pm, so we dined on scores and Pringle from the front desk, the next night we waited over an hour and then another 20 min. To get bread and drinks after we were seated. Seems like many of the guests opted for dominos delivery, with empty pizza boxes just piling up in the trash cans on the terrace. The whole place looks like it hasn't been painted in years. And then on the third day the power went out.. Still a stunning location and scenery, and the staff was super nice and always apologetic, trying to make things work. But we left felling sad for the place, with many fine memories over the years, not sure if we'll be back again."
