The sunset is a must and it's a great place if you are into running stairs. Not good for bad knees if you want to walk down the stairs to the beach.

Staff is so polite and very helpful. The beds were firm-great for anyone who has a challenged back. Elevator is vintage and really neat but, not made for modern luggage and wheelchairs. Super clean-I always check! Lovely, convenient stay.

The RUI Hotel in San Francisco was immaculate and welcoming. Rosalyn T. at the front desk treated us like VIPs and made our stay feel special.
Loved the breakfast spread (bagels, pancakes, eggs, proteins, cereals, coffee/tea) and the cozy gas fireplaces throughout, even by the pool. The bar was great with two big TVs for games/PPV, plus a side market with late-night snacks, all kinds of drinks including sodas, desserts, coffee (6–10pm), and essentials you may have forgotten.
Rooms had blackout curtains and comfortable beds, but the noise from above was rough — every footstep carried through the ceiling. A sound machine in rooms would solve this.
Overall, a clean, relaxing hotel with great staff and amenities — just aim for a top-floor room if you’re a light sleeper.
