“Everything was excellent ”

“Stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday. The place is so nice. Lovely staff. Very attentive there is a bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, rooms all greatly decorated. Food very great. Would definitely stay here again”

“Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall.”

“We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

“Excellent well designed modern lodge in superb condition. Ensuite bedrooms, comfortably furnished lounge area and fully fitted kitchen. Peaceful, secure countryside setting. Would definitely recommend for a quiet restful holiday. Lincoln, Newark and Nottingham easily accessible form this location. ”

“Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. You had to drive under 5 mph to try to retain the floor of your car. The second was...
