"We stayed at the Japanese style house and it was amazing! It was huge and perfect for a family. It also has private indoor and outdoor onsen included in the accommodation just for us. The meals included were great as well, we had teppanyaki for dinner and Japanese breakfast. The accommodation is also close to the Hell's onsen attraction which is just minutes walk away so it's perfect for my parents. The only thing was the outdoor onsen was slightly too hot for us as you cannot adjust the water...

The view was great and had everything you could ask for. I really enjoyed the senbei and haori jacket- great for photo opportunity. I did not dine at the hotel but had some great whiskey at the bar.
