“Superior room was excellent, welcoming and well presented on arrival. The guests living room was a great place to spend a cosy evening in front of the wood burning stove. Breakfast was excellent, fresh produce and good choice, and the fresh eggs were memorable. The electric charge point was a bonus. ”

“It's was an experience we wanted, to stay in a castle. The Ruthin Castle has a ton of history. It's a bit run down but I guess that could be the charm. The bathroom was beautiful, the rooms (bedroom and living room) were large. Overall, the place seemed quiet and dark. There is not a lot to do in Ruthin. The staff was nice and the room was clean.”

Staff were polite, weren’t always present at the bar or on reception but when they were there they really friendly. Rooms weren’t very soundproof but didn’t matter too much. Jacuzzi was really nice. Overall, would reccomend and visit again. ”

Room was good size and very clean, hotel situated along side of busy A55, but road noise in room was minimal. Had small lunch and then dinner in the evening, the service from Heather was excellent, full of smiles and attentive, even though it was busy with the amount of staff they had on serving.
