“Spent a week in the property. Great stay in a generous sized property. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. 5 minute walk from the town centre. Good range of shops and eating places in Newbiggin. Near park land which was ideal for the dog. House was well equipped. Good sized bathroom. Rear yard was a nice suntrap and very private. Good sized bedrooms and very clean.”

“Excellent venue with lots of parking. Very clean and spacious. This was a last minute booking and communication was poor. You don't get access instructions until you pay a waiver that costs either an additional £10 or £25 depending on what you choose. And then you have to chase to get it back. Sounds a bit of a con to me but I had no choice. Overall though the property was excellent, just let down by a poor letting agent in my opinion.”

“When we arrived we saw immediately that the sofabed in the lounge was broken and could not be used to sit or sleep on, this was disappointing as it meant there were not enough beds for us all. We contacted the owner and the next day a chap arrived with an airbed. We requested that the sofa be replaced but that did not happen. The wiring in the property is very precarious with one of the light fittings dangling precariously from a plastic junction. The shower does not work. When drawing the...

“Cleaning was not good enough, webs in showers and mould. Stains on sheets and the dishwasher was not working. We was forced to pay for cleaning, despite all this. Dont recommend this, we felt cheated on.”
