"I had such a wonderful two-night stay at this hotel! From the moment my partner and I arrived, the front desk staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. The hotel itself is incredibly well maintained, having an upscale feeling of luxury. Including the room, which was immaculately clean and fresh. Everything about it was perfect. The hotel also offers a free airport shuttle service. It made our travel experience so much smoother and stress free. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will absolutely be staying here again. "Excellent place to stay in DC. I always stay here when I’m in town. Reasonable price. Close to everything. My room was clean, quiet and comfy. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that there was no microwave. In/out parking is convenient but not free. It’s $43(?) per day. I highly recommend it!"

"The Archer Hotel is a wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. From the moment we pulled up to the curb, the valet welcomed us and helped us with our bags. Our double queen room was clean and the beds were luxurious and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and included nice lotions, soaps and hair products along with nice touches such as slippers, robes, and a golf umbrella. There were free water bottles and caramels or chocolate treats provided daily. The room included a safe and microwave, though we didn’t use them. The lobby had coffee and tea in the morning and delicious infused water all day. The Archer has a lovely courtyard and a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and lunch right next door called Homegrown. It was so nice to stay somewhere out of the ordinary chain hotels I frequent. I highly recommend the Archer for a wonderful stay in Alexandria."

"Love the location of the hotel and love the staff. The staff are very helpful and pleasant. There were many good restaurants available for dinner. The hotel breakfasts included with your room were EXCELLENT! We spent 4 days exploring Washington DC. The staff told us about the SW shuttle with a stop at the L'Enfant metro station; spy museum, air and space museum, and the zoo."
