"Love private in-room onsen, breakfast and dinner! Amazing ryokan with great service. We look our stay here. The room is spacious! The private spa bath might look small in the photo but actually it is perfect for 2 adults. Highly recommended!"

"Our second visit, this time we travel with my daughter’s family and grandson. This is a few Onsen hotel that allows children to use their public onsen. He enjoyed this new experience and all of us have a great time to enjoy the facilities and fine Japanese dinner. Since this is my second visit, our family was offer free lounge access and late checkout. Something we did not expect. So thank you!"

"We loved our stay at YuYu Onsen hotel. The staff were extremely polite and hospitable. Thoroughly enjoyed the Japanese breakfast experience and recommend you try it. The booking comes with a 50 min private onsen experience which was thoroughly enjoyable in the evening after a busy day of site seeing. The location even though feels remote and away from shops and amenities (we had no car) is served by bus service ( look up the J number buses). They will drop you right in front of YuYu onsen. I booked based on price and had reservations about how isolated this location was but I need not have worried. The remote location and the surrounding woods only enhanced our experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone planning on visiting Hakone and once again I’m thankful to all the staff that made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. ❤️"

"It is a hotel that is tucked away up a hill, but it’s very quiet and quaint. The service is above and beyond, as our hotel manager reached out to offer us a ride from the bus stop in advance and saved us what would have been a very difficult walk uphill. He also gave us a ride to Togendai station where we were able to catch the ropeway, scenic cruise, and grab dinner. And when we were ready to head back in the evening he came back to Togendai to pick us up. The Onsen was also enjoyable and a great end to the day - the outdoor hot spring was so nice at night. Quiet and serene. Overall, would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet serene environment with beautiful views and excellent service by the hotel manager."
