"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.

It felt awful when I stepped on it barefoot!! I would have given the hotel 3.3 to 4 stars if it were not for the carpet! Disappointing!"
