Waypoint was the perfect hotel stay. The best way to describe it is wonderfully efficent. The Japanese bathroom design is so good I will be enhancing my USA bathroom to mimic it. Toto brand bidet and walk-in shower/tub design blew me away with how smart it is. The hotel water pressure was better than any Marriott I have ever stayed at (platinum member). The English speaking hosts were always polite and helpful.
If you’re staying in the Tsukiji or Ginza area, and want a peaceful home base, WAYPOINT is a no-brainer.
Excellent choice for families and larger groups. It was an excellent choice for my family of 4. Two kids: 7 & 10. They loved the bunk bed experience. Facilities and amenities were just perfect. We booked the one with 4 beds which had plenty of space for us and all the luggages.
Facility was super clean and had a shared coin-op laundry machines on floors 5-9 with a sink to wash the dishes and utensils that were provided in every room with a decent size fridge and separated freezer compartment. Best is that it is near the Tsukiji train line just one block away. Fish Market is about 4 blocks away; although they close early daily. There are several good shops in the area too that are all within walking distance. My almost daily go-to are: Amigo Cheesecake— so fresh. Bakery across the street. Tarrot Coffee in the alley around the corner from Starbucks. Noticed it by accident. So I glad did!
Family Mart and 7-11 also a couple blocks away. I found myself going to Family Mart more often since the packaged food and egg and sandwiches looked more appetizing.
Overall, excellent choice for families and larger groups who are looking for a non-standard hotel alternative in a quieter part of town near the Ginza strip (about 10 mins walk).
The hotel is new, everything looks modern and nice. The room was spacious enough, the beds were a bit uncomfortable though. Location is fine, you had to take the train for almost everything but the train is near by.
The room was spacious and cleaned every 3 days which worked for us as a family of four with two young kids. Towels can be changed daily by placing the old ones outside your door. There’s a full size fridge with a freezer compartment which was useful.
Si eres joven y quieres conocer la vida nocturna de Shibuya este es un buen hotel, queda justo en la calle de los antros y bares, lo mejor es que no se escucha nada de ruido dentro del hotel
