“The hotel sits in beautiful grounds and has plenty of parking, including several EV chargers which was very convenient. The rooms appear very dated but very clean and spacious. Sound definitely travels throughout and we could easily hear our neighbours. The staff were friendly. We enjoyed a tasty roomservice meal, although it felt overpriced.”

Some maintenance was needed to windows in our room and the corridor, with external painting needed, however otherwise our room was fine. “Friendly staff but a bit slapdash at breakfast, rooms comfortable but south facing rooms need a portable aircon unit when warmer outside as the room was stiflingly hot despite window open and fan on. Excellent food which we could not fault for two nights dinner.”

“The room and Inn were perfect! The owner was so kind and helpful. She he's my reservation when my travel plans coming in did not go as planned and I ended up not checking in until the next day. The food was amazing! From breakfast to dinner with the battered fish (so creamy good) and the chicken a leek lasagna (so yummy). “1950 s accommodation 39 stairs to reach bedroom shared bathroom and toilet. Tea and coffee provided but you had to make it on the stair landing breakfast supposed 7am to 10 am went down 8am nothing ready.soft boiled eggs when finally arrived,(hard as rock When we first got there place was locked up,no one at home.with sign in window for sale .”

“While the outside of the building has seen better days the staff were very helpful, there was motorcycle parking I was comfortable with , and the room was spacious and clean. Pub next door did a decent dinner.”

“We felt right at home from the moment we met Freda outside her lovely B&B. Our room was clean and cool, bathroom was very nice as well. Big TV and coffee & Tea on our table. The house itself is very charming and historic. The next day we were greeted by a hearty and delicious homemade breakfast by Freda, we even got to meet Gypsy! Her sweet doggie. We loved our short time in Dumfries, I hope we make our way back there again. We will definitely be staying at the Huntigdon once more”

“We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Craigmount. Nicole en Malcolm zijn heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Er was zelfs een aparte zitkamer met lekkere banken voor de gasten. Heerlijke bedden en vers ontbijt. Tijdens ons verblijf was er ook de mogelijkheid om tegen vergoeding avondeten (home cooked) te gebruiken. Deze waren erg goed, met verse groente.”
