“There aren’t many shops nearby, mostly regional or country-specific stores. It’s hard to find what I want. The highlight is the convenience location for a short drive or public transportation away from town, but two things are inconvenient: the hot water for showers only lasts a short time, and the breakfast options are very limited for the price I paid.”

“We travelled to Whitley Bay from York to attend a family funeral and booked this hotel for an overnight stay. We were looking for a small family run hotel with personal service and that is what we got. A lovely spacious newly refurbished bedroom with on suite, and all that we would wish for although not needed, even a microwave! The management could not have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Cooked English breakfast was superb. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely disgusting. Smelt like human piss HORRENDOUSLY. Carpet was miss coloured from stains. Burn marks on blanket. Bed was floor level. Smelt like fresh current cigarette even tho there’s no smoking signs. Would absolutely not stay here!!!!!!! My clothes all smelt the next day. I backpacked Thailand and nothing was this gross. ”

“Easy Check in. About 10 to 15mins walk from the metro station. Res the Host was very good he carried my suitcase to the room. Could not see a spec of dust any where really clean. bed was comfy. Bathroom was good Shower took about a minute to get the water hot. Breakfast was good and cooked breakfast was hot not luke warm like most premier inns. And Res a great host and nothing seemed to much trouble for Res to sort out. So very much one of the better places to stay. ”
