While there might not be top attractions in Obama Onsen, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Unzen Jigoku Hell and Unzen Ropeway.

The hotel had hot springs for the guest to use and the room was large, plenty of space to walk around which is not typical for most Japanese hotels. Room also had plenty of storage space and even had a patio looking over the waterfront. It's not a clear view of the waterfront but it's something.

This hotel is amazing!! We were glad it was our last hotel as we would have been very disappointed with all of our other hotels in other cities if we would have started with this one! 4 separate beds, a nice living room area, a nice bathroom, and small kitchen.
