“The hotel room we were to stay in at the Comfort Suites Abingdon was disgusting and a health threat. The room had a dead cockroach in the corner, a bunch of food crumbs along the bed frame edge that were molding, some dirty crusty white streak on the bed skirting, and worst of all, mildew growing up the sides of the bed side table. “Check in lady was helpful and very friendly. As soon as we got there the elevator was broke down, stuck on second floor. She was trying her best, running back and forth up the steps to fix it. No luck on that. We were only on the second floor, so not so bad getting up to the room. We got to the room, and although the bed was made, there were gross stains and hairs on the comforter, which we were told they normally don’t wash them unless they look dirty. Well….obviously nobody looked at this one....

“There was rat poop in between our bedsheets. The tub was dirty, like if someone just got out of the tub and left it they tried to give us another room. The adjoining door would not lock, but they thought that they could put a chair in front of the door to hold it shut. People are living in the hotel one couple said that they were in between places to live so they were staying there for a while. It was absolutely disgusting. The outside looked abandoned.
