โThe Cabot Lodge is a quaint, adorable, wonderful place to stay! The room itself is tiny but the bathroom is spacious. The room has everything you need, including a sound machine! There are complimentary snacks and coffee, and the bed is very comfortable. The town itself is historic and has some very cool shops. Would absolutely stay here again!โ
โI absolutely loved my stay! My dream place in Salem! The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, the location, the priceโeverything is perfect! I have never slept so well in a bed as the one I had there. Plus, they offer cookies and scones starting at 4 p.m., and delightful morning treats at 9 a.m.! Thereโs limited on-site parking available, as well as another lot not far away. Iโve found my place to stay in Salemโ50/5 stars! I canโt wait to come back, thank you for everything!โ
โWhat a stellar place to stay! After a drive through some nice neighborhoods, we arrived at the inn and were greeted by a very nice staff person at the check in desk. We booked 2 rooms and were pleasantly surprised that they were right across from each other. The rooms were well appointed and super clean with comfortable beds. โRun by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. โAbsolutely love this hotel and this will be my first choice when I return to Salem next time! The staff was AMAZING! So sweet, helpful and just lovely. Love the texting service - so attentive and easy! Loved my room and the location of the hotel was PERFECTION! Only 2 wishes for next time - PLEASE get ice makers and PLEASE upgrade the TV options for Youtube, Netflix, etc. But that's it. otherwise, a perfect stay!!!!!โ
โTwo things bothered me - because of the barn style door to the bathroom, your roommate can See and Hear you going to the bathroom. Also the doors to the rooms are tremendously heavy, which means they slam every time someone goes in or out of their room. Other than that, the hotel was great. โ
โthe rooms were bright and clean and the property was in easy walking distance to downtown marblehead. There were bikes available to borrow as well.. All in all a great experienceโ
