Within short walking distance of many Broadway theaters, which was my reason for being there. We were caught in a downpour after one show without umbrellas. But only had to run across the street to be under the roof of the Marriott. Huge mobs in Times Square, but you would have to dodge your way through those, no matter where you stay.

Always take the "D" train to Yankee Stadium.

An iconic ball park. I went just to say I had been to Yankee Stadium. Very crowded hot and noisy concessions extremely expensive. Be prepared to walk a lot, No escalators

Take the subway to get there. Traffic is insane and the cabs/Uber cost would be ridiculous compared to the 2.75 one way ride. We had no idea what we were doing and just asked strangers who were happy to help

We saw a Yankees game. It was hat night. It did rain. Ponchos saved us through the rain delay.. Yankees won!
