Real nice hotel, location. Love the small sand "beach", the fire pits for smores and overall, great location.

Would not recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful stay. I did a pre-check in since I arrived in town early, checked bags. I never got a call from the hotel when a room was available so I popped in to ask and was told they had plenty of rooms. I let the front desk person know I had did a pre-check in with bags. Finished my check-in and went up to the room, called for bell service to bring my items up and was told I needed to go back downstairs to let the bell desk as this wasn’t possible over the phone( not sure why I wasn’t given that info when I checked in). However, on check out day is where most of my frustration was. Check out is at 12, I had housekeeping already knocking on my door at 10am & another housekeeper attempt to open my room door at approximately 10:12. When I went to check out I advised the front desk, the manager immediately popped out from behind the wall and tried to defend the actions. He claimed this is normal practice for all hotels and the reason for it was because people check out early. I’ve stayed at hotels before, I know how things works. But rather then aimlessly having your staff knock on doors and disturb guest why is there no communication on those guests that DO check out early. The manager offered no sympathy and seemingly just wanted to stand his ground and be “right”. Overall, I would NOT give this place another cent of my money if this is how they conduct business.
