“We were 3 of only 5 people in the hotel so services were at a bare minimum, which sucked for us. The place looked fresh and new, which is hard to do as things age quickly in Vietnams climate. The room was delightful and comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room and well laid out. Don't sit on the side of the bath as it's held down and tipped up me which took a bit a work to rectify. Breakfast 1was terrible, with no menu to choose from it was just prepared and here's something to eat. Breakfast 2...

“This hotel likely had not been stayed at in at least a year. The owner was also not aware we were coming after we had made the Expedia booking. He was very kind and made it work, but this hotel, as well as the entire neighborhood around it, is completely run down and looks as if the town was shut down a decade ago. All the surrounding buildings are overgrown by the jungle, boats are half sunk into the lake, no restaurants open except two a long walk away and it appears it's only for locals and...

“I thought this hotel would be a lot larger but it’s a small family run place. It’s close to the airport and cost less than 100k vnd for a Grab from the airport and provides a free shuttle when going to the airport. It’s also amazingly quiet for being right on a busy road. The breakfast was just ok. The owners are friendly and helpful and they recommended a basic Pho restaurant two doors down the street which was also good. We plan to stay here again when we are flying in late from Cambodia.”

“Good”

“The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. After a day of sightseeing, returning to the hotel feels just like coming home. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the food was absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again when we return to Hanoi!”
