“Great stay in a classic English village hotel. Very central and easy walking to all sites of interest.”

“A very classy hotel, super helpful staff and good food. Highly recommended”

“Staff”

“Wow! What a location! The accommodation was great and the food was even better. The staff were very attentive and helpful. A real little gem!”

“Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.”

“A great breakfast, the room we had was next door to the two water heaters, making the room very hot indeed other than that a good stay and staff were very attentive, will definitely go again but not in the same room, breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal parking is good also with no extra charges.”

“It was a pleasure to stay the night at the Town House, really lovely people and a bonus to chat over breakfast with another guest. A cosy, homely feel and definitely somewhere we'll book again”

“Had a really great stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was excellent. The location was also very convenient. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Oxbridge Farm. Carolyn and her family could not do enough to make our stay really memorable. The room was lovely, very clean. The breakfast was superb and locally sourced. Great recommendations for things to do and places to eat nearby. We will definitely be back”

“Great staff, lovely environment and super place to stay.”

“Overnight stay in a family room. Building has loads of character, room clean and staff helpful. Thanks”

“Lovely place right by the sea with super friendly staff. Parking also with your room and good food. Hotel is what you expect for the price but staff are wonderful. I don’t like electric showers as you can’t get heating right on them. But that’s normal for these older hotels. Would happily stay again.”

“This was our second stay at Lyme one. The location is superb and the breakfast delivered to the room was really tasty”

“Very close to Charmouth beach Great freshly cooked breakfast Ticked all the boxes Just a note re Charmouth there were no eateries open after 3pm on the days I was there admittedly out of season in October so either be prepared to drive or have snacks with you”

“So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs. The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo...

“Beautiful seaside inn, lovely room with wonderful view. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, nice amenities. Excellent breakfast!!”

“Nice old building but in need of repairs and updates, room wasn’t particularly clean, old windows with condensation and not be cleaned for a while ! Good breakfast, location not bad but a killer of a hill to get back up at night, was ok as a base but if looking for a special occasion I’d look elsewhere”
