“We were woken up by a guest threatening to kill another guest right outside of our room and when we called the front desk, the manager was incredibly dismissive of our safety concerns. We were told the guest was still in the hotel and if it happened again, police would be called. We expressed concern that the police were not called and that the guest remained in the building, however, the manager said it was “only a verbal dispute”. “Location was good. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The only thing we thought was pretty marginal, was the TV picture / quality. But that was secondary because we didn’t drive down to the new River Gorge just to watch TV!—”

“The hotel is old which isn’t a problem but it’s I desperate need of a total renovation. It’s damp and there is mold everywhere. The staff was nice. It was okay for a one night stay as it was just to sleep and leave the next day. Even the floor felt damp to walk on. It didn’t feel extremely safe either.”
