"Location was great! Next to the wharf. Service is slow. Front desk staff was hit or miss. I requested a crib ahead of time and confirmed with front desk but it was not in the room even after they said it would be in there already when I checked in. When we got to our room, we waited almost an hour for bell to deliver our bags until I finally went downstairs to the front desk to ask for them. They finally called the bell up. Bell guys were super friendly otherwise. Overall decent stay, nice location. "

"We had such a wonderful stay at The Quail Lodge & Golf Club. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature, which made it the perfect relaxing getaway. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very spacious. We especially loved how quiet everything was — it really allowed us to unwind after long days exploring Carmel, 17-Mile Drive, and Big Sur. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make our stay more enjoyable. The location is also a huge plus — close enough to everything, yet tucked away from the crowds. Overall, this place has such a calm and upscale vibe without feeling too formal. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful stay in the Carmel area!"
