“This hotel is a real gem. Michelle the manager is efficient, friendly and very helpful. Everything has been thought of, and the breakfasts are to die for. If you are looking for a 5 star experience but don't want a corporate faceless hotel this is the place for you.”

“Absolutely loved this boutique hotel and would definitely recommend. Teh”

“When in Joburg, the Parkwood in Rosepark is a sanctuary of relaxation and luxury. John Paul makes you feel welcome and pampered and the suites are large, well appointed and more than comfortable for relaxing and sleeping when on property. So much better than much larger chain hotels throughout Joburg. Location and luxury make the Parkwood our top option. ”

“Personnel adorable, chambre et parties communes propres, petit déjeuner bon. En revanche, salle de bain vieillotte et appartement à isoler car il y fait très froid en juillet.”

“The garden bar operated single handed by Tomelo was great. He could not be more helpful, informative and generally pleasant as well as being quick!! However The dining room staff require to take a leaf out of his book. At breakfast we found it necessary to remind them time and again to restock items on the buffet table and frequently we had to remind them to take our order or bring the coffee we had asked for. The could also be extremely raucous when guests were still dining.”

“Great location, loved the Rosebank mall area, lots to eat and shop. Central to everything I wanted to see. Staff was very friendly. Very quiet and pleasant area. Surprised by the lack of face cloths/wash clothes.”

“The hotel is very nice, clean, comfy beds. The family rooms are on the ground floor and spacious. However, it was a little unsuitable with the pram and the baby due to there being a few stairs to navigate to get in and then also inside. However, staff was super helpful. Breakfast was great. Location is great. You can walk or catch a golf car to the mall. Place is halal.”

“What a wonderful place to stay. Great hotel, great location. Busisiwe and Reagile where wonderful at breakfast time! Well done ladies”

“The staff were welcoming and approachable. When a room change became necessary, they were understanding and prompt in helping. The General Manager was open and easy to talk with. Although the carpets were somewhat dated, the hotel remained clean. The bathrooms are big and nice. The shops are a walking distance away. We had a lovely stay.”
