โThis is one of the best places I have ever stayed at. Big, comfortable rooms, amazing hospitality and probably the best breakfast in town. It was just spectacular! Loved it! Recommend it!โ
โFoxwood House is a historic building with the main house and several out buildings. I had originally booked Coach House. we arrived in the dark (cause it sets early here) and basically just unpacked, exhausted from long flight.
TV was not working so the manager moved us to Onze Emmie suite. WOW loved it. had a lovely patio we enjoyed. large room, large bathroom.the surrounding area is very wild with flowers and vines and walking paths. I'm sure people could find fault with it but I loved the 2...
โUpon arrival, the staff greeted us by saying, โWelcome Homeโ. I have never received such a warm reception of hospitality by a hotel. The dinner, the rooms, the staff, the jazz brunch, and the tour, were amazing!! I am already planning my next stay. My only regret, is wishing I knew about the hotel sooner. โ
โThe place was clean and the environment was good. From the friendliest receptionist
Kenneth Khoza and Anne Mabyalani.
Warmth welcome on our arrival .Our room was neat and clean, very cosy.As for the day diner was great on our first stay.Breakfast was awesome. We really enjoy our stay and we keep coming back again โ
โOur wifi got cut-off at 22h00,tried using the phone it didn't go through.Called directly to reception and they said someone is coming to fix until morning came. I was disappointed. โ
โIt is a very eclectic hotel with unique lounging areas on the different floors. Staff were great and breakfast was good. There was an issue with no curtains or shades on the door to one of the balconies in our room but being on the 3rd floor mitigate any exposure. We will definitely stay again if we are ever in Johannesburg again โ
