We stayed for 4 days for my brother's funeral. When we arrived, we had just driven 8.5 hours and hoped for a smooth check in to a clean suite. The kitchen area was dirty. The stove & burners were filthy. Someone's eyeglasses were on the counter. The carpet was dirty & the couch looked broken. When my son pulled out the sofa bed, the springs were squeaky and the mattress sagged horribly. There was hair in the tub. There's no exhaust fan in the bathroom and oddly, there is a vent in the ceiling so dirty that it looked furry. The bedroom carpet was dirty & and the bed was rock hard. We called about the state of the room. We needed towels, there was only 1/2 a roll of 1ply TP on the roll, and no pillow for the sofa bed. When I spoke to the front desk person, she told me she could bring up towels & TP. She said it would be a while because she was by herself, no pillows were available, and housekeeping had already left for the day. We were so tired, we stayed in the room and figured housekeeping would clean it the next day. I called in the morning about the situation and was told the night person was new and it would be corrected that day. We had no housekeeping service for the additional 3 days. We had to ask for towels/TP every day. We had to ask for someone to come take the garbage away after the 2nd day. This lack of service made a horrible time in our lives so much worse. This is not a cheap hotel. We expected more from a Marriott. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.
