"It's good locationwise . This hotel is a 5 minute walk to the state park and about 7-10 minutes away from the rainbow bridge and observation deck (walking) which is great for crossing over to Toronto. There's a few cute souvenir shops nearby and Amala restaurant is a good place to dine and it's located around the corner from the Wingate. But it opens at 5PM The room was fair the walls can use a scrub but the important stuff like clean, fresh towels and bedding were great. But the walls can use a little TLC. One inconvenience is the room keycards. The keycards will not work when you return from your day out. Have the keycards reprogrammed to open your door by the nice people at the check-in counter before going up to the room.The staff will totally understand because It happens all the time. Breakfast was good enough it gets the job done. The staff was friendly, informative and quick to help. Enjoy your stay."

"The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. They do need to renovate the breakfast service, but besides that everything was great."

"The staff were not very helpful. The front desk person didn't let us know that we had to put a parking pass in our car when he gave us our keys. We found out about the parking pass after we got to our room. So we had to go out to our car again! He was also not helpful when we told him the wifi was not working. The waffle maker was not functioning properly. The insides of the waffles were not cooked through."
