"Firstly they have over charged me far more than the booking amount. We didn't steal or damage anything! I will be investigating it further! For an expensive hotel there were some "normal" items missing from the room in our opinion! There was no microwave or toaster! The hotel was in a difficult place to walk to in the "rocks"of Sydney."

"My father first took me to stay there when I was 15 (Now 90). His role as a Union official in the mining industry required him to travel to Sydney on many occasions. Always stayed at Great Southern where he was treated like royalty. it was on my bucket list to have a stay there......same excellent experience. June Kelly"

Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour

"The location was reasonable. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. They should not be charging extra for a room with a harbour view when there is a high rise building site blocking most of the view. Very disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for maintenance. had I known that in advance, I would have booked elsewhere. Thanks"

Four Seasons Hotel Sydney

"I don’t believe “no” is in the vocabulary of the staff. Whatever I needed, they had (plug adapter and a charger when mine died), and even things I didn’t know I needed, they provided (a bookmark and a cord holder). My room was upgraded to a partial Harbour view, and I spent many an hour in the window nook enjoying Vivid Sydney from the comfort of my room. From the front desk to house keeping, everyone was friendly and took care of everything so I didn’t have to worry about anything. Convenient location to landmarks; trains, ferries and buses two blocks away, but a very walkable city if you have the time. The only disappointment was the “signature” hot chocolate - I had read online about how decadent it is, but the one I got at the To Go bar was less than average."

"This hotel was conveniently located at Darling Harbor and one of the stops for the Sydney hop on hop off bus. We were able to take the hop on hop off bus to see all of the sights. The room was a decent size, was very clean, and had everything we needed. We had breakfast included as part of our booking and it was perfect for our family to start the day. Everyone found many things that they liked to eat and all of it was delicious. The pool was wonderful and it was convenient that towels were easily available. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Sydney. Overall, it was a clean hotel with delicious breakfast at a convenient location for us as tourists."
