Our hosts Pierre Luigi and Verica facilitated our arrival and, since we were on the top floor, (no lift), Pierre Luigi carried our luggage to our rooms, which we appreciated. “This is a gem in Assisi. I stayed here for one night before checking into another place in the historical town centre. The resort is super clean and quiet which allows you to relax as the town centre can sometimes be crowded with tour groups. There is a sauna in the room, also the view from the hotel is magnificent where you can see the panoramic view of the whole historical centre of Assisi. “AlterEgo B&B is located conveniently near the central square and several restraunts, shops and many historical and religious sites. Assisi is very hilly. AlterEgo is "downhill" from the top bus stop and the proprietor showed us a flatter way to catch the bus leaving. The room was spotless. The bed comfortable. Breakfast is available from a hotel around the corner for 5euro. We would stay there again.”
