โNice hotel in the form of a little palace. Lovely direct view to the coast. For the personnel nothing was too much. Nice hotel when you come as a couple. โ
โAll aspects of the visit were excellent
We enjoyed good breakfasts
Diner menu well thought out.
Room spacious, huge bathroom with both tub and large shower. Plenty of toiletries.
Cleanliness exemplary
Charming and helpful staff
Situation , well placed for road access for all routes.
Well maintained grounds, the team were busy as we left.โ
โContactless. No front desk which was fine by me. Room was great. Quiet and modern. Seems like a haul to the heart of Edinburg but you are a block away from the tram and it only costs two pounds for a quick ride up the street. Coming home it's slightly downhill which is a nice way to work of your drinks! Also Malones pub is just around the corner.

โThe bed here was very comfortable and much better than numerous Travelodges we've stayed in recently. Despite it being a twin turned into a double the join wasn't very noticeable and the mattress was very comfortable.
The only gripe for me was the shower head did look aged and the drain in the wet room didn't clear the floor quickly enough so you're stood in 2inches of water by the time you've finished but grab bars in all the right places. As a wheelchair user I found everything very...
โNice area next to the water and lots of eateries around. The hotel itself is typical Malmaison with quirky elements. The front house reception staff were lovely. โ
โThe hotel was very clean and the room was fantastic. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is a little far from downtown but right next to a bus stop.โ
โGreat apartment! Even nicer in person than I could have imagined from the photos, which already gave a good impression. Was pleasantly surprised to see my unit had two full bathrooms! For a one bedroom, that was awesome. Wish I could've stayed longer than a day, because it makes a nice retreat.
The base of the kitchen sink was the main thing noticeably dirty, which was unfortunate to see. But didn't take away from the whole experience. 15/1 and 15/2 have a deep stairway to get to the apt,...

โHad 4 nights in this hotel. Room is a little outdated and showing significantly. Wednesday evening we ate in the restaurant which was ok. They do add 10% service charge onto the bill and tell you they can remove it if you wish!!!! Breakfast was lovely Thursday and friday mornings, however Saturday and Sunday was a little disappointing ๐. No housekeeping during stay they ask if you require anything at breakfast, which is something we have never experienced. No car park, train station which is a...
โIf you cross a mountain road following Google you will be challenged for another hill. Staffs are very kind and especially I miss Arturo so much! You can try the bar to enjoy the home of whiskey. Breakfast was fantastic as well. โ
"The location and view were truly excellent. Major tourist attractions were within walking distance. Right after check-in, we found that the bathroom sink was clogged, but it was promptly repaired. The breakfast was also outstanding. One downside was that noise insulation both inside and outside the hotel could have been better. Overall, itโs a very good place to stay in Edinburgh.

"It's a good hotel. Above all, the location is the best. The facilities and hygiene are also good. However, the shower room drainage facility is inadequate."
