“We stayed in a 3 bed, 2 room unit that also had a kitchenette. It met our needs for a one night stay. The beds were comfortable and the sheets felt nice. We didn't use the kitchenette. The shower was nice. It's an older motel and very close to the beach. There was no hair dryer. I didn't ask if they had one we could use so I don't know if that would have been an option. “We spent one night on Ocracoke at the Anchorange Inn in a first floor room, just by the office. We were there during a heat wave with intense humidity and heat index of 105+ degrees. There was a dehumidifier in our room but when we entered, it was full and had probably not been emptied that day. The humidity was 88% and it was damp and unpleasant. We had to continually empty the dehumidified in the 16 hours we spent at the hotel. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable and it was a decent room. Not...

“Great place close to eating and activities”

“Father/Daughter owned. They were both very kind and pleasant. We were greeted daily. The room was amazing and the vibe was unmatched. It was short walk to the beach. Our dogs were welcomed. If you want a nice place to stay, with awesome hosts at affordable prices this is your stop. My wife and I will be back and our puppies too.
