“This was the smallest U.S. hotel room I have ever stayed in. We asked to have the overstuffed chair removed from our room just so we could move around. We had to place my suitcase on the t.v. console stand and the other suitcase on the nightstand. On the way out of the bathroom into the bedroom, I hit and cut my shin on the sharp corner of the bed. And there was no air conditioning. They did supply a fan, but it kept shutting off during the night, requiring us to get up and turn it on again. We...

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was spotless. This hotel is amazing value for being right on the strip walking distance to everything in Carmel-by-the-sea. The only thing about the room that wasn’t ideal was the fact there was no AC. Expected in older places by the ocean, it was warmer this weekend. No points off for this. Just wanted other people to be aware. The breakfast was lacking. Luckily there were lots of outside options. Minus one star for that. Parking can be challenging too....
