Carmichael, Sacramento hotel rooms at the Red Roof Inn

"You get what you pay for. Room could have been cleaner but wasn't terrible. There was no sign of bugs. The bedding and towels were clean. I was never bothered."

"Great place and wonderful staff. Lots of good places to eat and close to discovery park. They provide earplugs to block out the seals barking. But they are beautiful to see. I loved the view and will definitely be back. Shower was great."

"I didn't stay there for shopping so I can't comment on that. It was a nice hotel, spacious and modern with friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfast had only one option, which was a full cooked breakfast, which I didn't want and which was expensive. They should have smaller breakfast options, such as just a juice and a coffee and a bowl of cereal, which is all I wanted. The area is very convenient for being picked up and dropped off. I was not driving so I didn't have to pay parking, which also seemed expensive but then I'm a traveller from abroad. Perhaps that's the reasonable rate for that area."
