"what a wonderful hotel. Right on a small canal close to the water bus. It is a bit away from the really busy areas and had very good restaurants close by. They have a lovely bar where you can actually get a great martini or drink of your choice by American standards. The staff was great. I can't recommend this hotel enough. We loved it for our 3 day stay. Even the air conditioning was reasonable and some tv stations in english."
"Staff was wonderful. Room was comfortable, and the breakfast satisfying. Be mindful you will have to carry your own luggage upstairs. Not a problem for us, as our rule for European travel is to never back more than you are willing to carry up a flight of stairs. Location is convenient to Rialto Bridge and water taxi stop. We really enjoyed our stay."
"Really central for all the main venice attractions... handy gondola basin... 5 mins walk from the main vaporetto.... nice venetian feel...my room excellent size ... others can be small... ask for balcony room as there are only a couple of them...can get a water taxi to the door if have the cash....nice bar... friendly staff
Really great place.."
"Room was clean. Shower had half door so be prepared for floor to get wet/flood. A/C extremely weak especially in summer months.
Balcony very nice, location amazing"
"The buffet breakfast had everything you needed regardless of your dietary needs. The staff was very helpful in getting us set up for tours of the city."
"We were very pleased with our stay at hotel Principe. My wife and I stayed in a room that would accommodate a double bed but it was two Singles pushed together come up would have been nice to have a proper bed but everything else was excellent period"
