"We had a really lovely stay at Carnival Palace Hotel, which we booked as a family to celebrate my birthday and Mother’s Day (UK). The hotel is quite modern and very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive, and always happy to help, which made a big difference to our experience. Our suite was extremely comfortable, featuring a spacious super king bed and single sofa beds for the boys in an adjacent room that made it easy to relax after long days exploring the city. A real highlight of our stay was the private terrace with a hot tub — such a special touch, and as far as we know, the only room in the hotel offering this, which made it feel even more unique and worth booking. The location is slightly away from the main tourist areas, around a 10–15 minute walk, but we actually found this to be a big advantage. It’s wonderfully quiet, perfect for a good night’s sleep, yet still close enough to easily reach all the main attractions. As soon as you step outside, there are plenty of fantastic local restaurants and bars within walking distance Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of continental options, including delicious fresh croissants and local cakes — definitely something to look forward to each morning. There were a few small details that could use a bit of attention, but nothing major that affected our stay. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay in Venice."
