โThe Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.
We will be returning soon and I will recommend the Royal to my friends and family.โ
โOverall very good experience - the hotel, the rooms, cleanliness, staff, value for money, check in, check out, standard of rooms and facilities - All excellent. Except that there is cow dung smell when you open windows because of the farms and animals in the nearby houses, sheds etc. I understand its not related to hotel, but just rural locality. So i would still rate the hotel and stay as excellent.โ
โMy friends and I lived the place. Very clean. Staff very professional but friendly. There were a common ice machine in the corridor and tea facilities in the room. Food was superb.
We wished we were staying longer as it was so nice and peaceful.

โHotel, even without breakfast service, is lovely. Kitchen available to use. While walking I explored slightly further afield and discovered a little cafe on the beach and the stunning old Heysham Village. I heartily recommend staying at this hotel. Owner very helpful. โ
โWell looked after central. Gave very good information on parking, breakfast exceptional. Friendly host. Would recommend highly if you need accommodation in the area. The farmers pub on the corner 20 yds away. Food. Very good , again recommend. Even though busy and you need to book, bank holiday weekend. Very busy , but not noisy. Or a problem , being so close. โ

We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.

โEvery aspect of the hotel was great. The location, building and presentation. Staff were fantastic, Lake View room was a treat and offered a very large double comfortable bed. The only down point was that our room was not serviced following our first night stay. Although reception was informed during the afternoon the room did not get serviced or towels changed. Spoke to house keeping next day and again by 3pm the housekeeping staff had disappeared and the room was not serviced. Complained at...
