The beds were super comfortable, the home was clean and it was a perfect place to relax and spend time with family roasting marshmallows by the fire or having dinner in the covered porch outside. For us, the lake wasn’t close enough to really walk to and take advantage of, but that will not stop us from coming back to this place again and again when we visit our family here. It’s a great place place to stay! Highly recommended! "

"The house was in the perfect location for what we needed. The surrounding area was perfect. The house itself had a musty smell upon entry, had rat traps in the corners of each room, and had a moldy coffee filter with coffee still inside, in the coffee maker. Appears no one cleaned that coffee maker prior to our arrival, or maybe in a long while, due to the amount of mold on it. The house could use some updating, but overall was not a bad experience."

"Rustic lake cabin with beautiful views of the Coosa river which looks like a huge lake. Comfy beds and from your pillow in the main suite you can see a panoramic view of the moons reflection dancing across the water. Solid dock on the water, lots of trees and birds to watch. Not fancy but definitely charming. Fantastic back porch w/ plenty of rocking chairs, large table. & porch swing. It’s like going back in time."

"Overall had a wonderful stay. 2 days they did not clean our room. When we told them of this they sent a lady my the name of Karen. She was very, very nice and took care of the problem quickly and professionally!"

"We stayed here during Bama Bound orientation and loved that it was right on campus and made for an easy trip. We ended up getting a room upgrade because our original room ended up being adjacent to a room with a yappy dog. Front desk staff was super helpful! The rooms were very warm when we first walked in (it was the peak of summer) but ended up cooling down perfectly after a couple hours. We never utilized the pool or restaurant/bar but it looked like both were well taken care of and staffed. Beds were super comfortable, rooms were overall very clean, just a little worn looking. But I’d say that outside the Alamite, this would be the best option for a stay at Bama."

"We particularly enjoyed how accommodating the staff was to our requests. We wanted extra towels and they immediately made that happen, our car was immediately greeted and unloaded by the valet, making check-in very smooth. Its central location to excellent dining was also a huge plus!"
