“Great property and location.Our room was on the second floor offering great ocean views. 10 min walk to the Main Street with shops and restos. 15-20 min walk to Makri Gialo beach with crystal blue turquoise water and sandy beach. Fabulous pool with sunbeds and full bar for drinks and snacks. 10 min drive to the main city of Argostoli with greater choices. In all a wonderful stay in Kefalonia.”

The courtyard is amazing, and the views looking across Agia Effimia harbour are absolutely incredible. ​Stavros was an exceptional, genuinely helpful host who went above and beyond at all times to ensure we had the best holiday. Location-wise, it’s ideal—we easily drove to Assos and Fiskardo in around 40 minutes. The drive from the airport is straightforward, but a hire car is essential for exploring. “We had ten nights at the hotel and I can honestly say it was faultless. The staff are wonderful, the bedrooms comfortable and so roomy and the whole hotel is exceptionally clean. There is a palpable sense of pride in the hotel which is reflected in how well it is run and maintained. We shall definitely return.”

“We had high expectations for this property, especially given the good communication from the owner before our arrival, who provided helpful information. However, our experience was far from what we had hoped. The biggest issue was the noise. Our room (Room 3) was located next to a busy road, and the bin collection at 5:00 AM added to the disturbance. The rooms are not soundproof, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms—doors closing, showers running, conversations, and even toilets...

A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68.”

“Firstly the hotel is on a small hill and takes about a 10mins uphill walk to reach. not too bad if you don’t have heavy suitcases to trawl. The check-in was easy and quick and as we travelled in the quiet period, it was all pleasant. the room was average size the balcony facing the sea was wonderful with views of the sea and mountains. the room however had dust piling up around the surfaces, the shower head was broken, the bathroom looked like it needed a though clean and the bedsheets had...

“I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. ”
