“숙박시설은 사진과 너무 달랐고 방의 유리창 조차 다치지 않았으며 우리는 그 방에 아무도 들어가길 원하지 않았지만 그곳의 직원이 몰래 들어 가다가 우리에게 들긴 적도 있었으며, 그 이후 함께 갔던 친구의 점퍼가 사라졌지만 그곳의 호스트는 전혀 신경 쓰지도 않았어요. 우린 결국 경찰도 불렀지만. 그녀는 그 경찰에게 조차 제대로 된 협조를 하지 않았어요. 나는 누구도 그 호스텔에 가지 않았으면 좋겠어요. 마추피추의 즐거웠던 여행을 망친 곳이라 매우 불쾌 했어요.”

“Very disappointing experience. As two women traveling alone, arriving after dark to an unfamiliar town was stressful enough, but this hotel made the situation even worse. Communication was difficult because very few staff members, including management, spoke English, leaving us feeling unsupported and uncertain about our options. The hotel itself was not what we expected. The lobby appeared old, shabby, and poorly maintained. The overall atmosphere felt more like a budget hostel than a hotel....

“This was incredible. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this may not be for you , but if you want a real authentic experience with an incredible view , I mean incredible. (This is saying a lot as I am from Alaska and have a high level of expectation for views ) the family that runs the base camp and restraint were so sweet this was one of the most memorable stays I’ve had in my life. Can’t wait to plan my trip back here! ”

“Hotel built on top of restaurant no direct entry, very tiny way to get to reception upstairs, no elevator. Rooms with no access to fresh air outside. At night around 0200, some people may be other guests, came in shouting, very loud, laughing making crying sounds, felt terrible, continued for about 30min. Breakfast was good, kept our luggage.”

“Great place to stay the night. Bed was comfortable for us. The sound of the running stream soothed us all to sleep. Breakfast was convenient and tasty. The spot to line up for the buses to Machu pichu bus s a two minute walk up the hill.”
