"Staff were amazing, shout out to Rob in the bar, willing to go out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Friendly, knowledgeable and adaptable, creating a mocktail which was delicious and exactly what I had wanted. Unfortunately, these days, if something is not a quick fix then customer service often goes out of the window… not here! All staff were attentive and happy to acknowledge requests when necessary. Breakfast service was wonderful, great selection which was replenished regularly, prompt, polite service throughout. I do have one concern from a food hygiene perspective, flies were everywhere, buffet food (in my opinion) should be creatively covered. The room was lovely, bed was comfy, hairdryer and steamer were a great addition, as was the slippers and dressing gowns. Each room has a quality coffee machine and kettle with a well-stocked mini bar (extra charges for mini bar products) There are also some additional touches that make the stay extra special, radio and electric diffuser, nice selection of magazines, quality bathroom products and on arrival, delicious, home baked biccies from the kitchen. The peaceful grounds, secluded reading rooms and restaurant all create a relaxing ambience and the scenic views from the outdoor patios are a welcome sight to enjoy at all times of the day. Joyful!
