"Very nice hotel! Very crowded the weekend that we were there, but I felt like the staff did a very good job handling all the travelers. Very relaxing back patio, breakfast was good. Will stay again."

"This is by far my favorite hotel at the beach. I have been staying here for years and don’t even look at any other places when planning my trip. I have stayed in the summer, fall, and winter. Every single time, it was great. There’s an amazing omlet bar and tons of other items available for breakfast. Free coffee, hot chocolate, and snow cones are also available. The staff is always very friendly, and the rooms are always clean. I will say the rooms are fairly small compared to other hotels, but for us, it’s fine because we are really only in them to shower and sleep. I don’t go to the beach to sit in a hotel room. I love that the beach is just steps away, which is so convenient when you have small kids. You can’t go wrong when choosing sleep inn!"

"I liked the large balcony. They didn’t have room ready for check in at 4. Pre checked in around 1pm and was told I would get a call when room was ready between 3-4. That didn’t happen. The lady that checked us in apparently did not have our card on file for the room. We got a text that they didn’t have our card after we ordered food and drink at the bar. Paid cash and cleared with the very nice bar tender. Came back from dinner and we were locked out of our room. No text telling us they were going to lock us out of a room we paid for. This required my husband to go back to desk provide a card and get new key. I’ve shortage on the first day of stay and no ice on our last day. Not at the bar or machine. We spent a whole day at the beach to come back to no room service had been performed at 5pm. So we just asked the maid for clean towels. Hot tub wall was moldy and dirty."

Embassy Suites By Hilton Gulf Shores Beach Resort

"Let me start from what was awesome: clean white sand beach which is maintained really well by a 3rd party company. Hotel is located across the street with a crosswalk in front so read "easy 2 min walk". Hotel is new so all facilities and rooms are great, clean and good size. Breakfast was plentiful; options were not as many as other Embassy Suites we've been to but enough for families to start the day. Now what needs work: parking is $30 per day. First of all, for hotel guests who pay for rooms AND expensive resort fees parking should be free. Second, you charge for parking but entrance is SO narrow that I had to maneuver Grand Wagoneer couple of times back and forth to get in or out. Entrance into the parking is narrower than exit and turn is so narrow that large SUVs that EVERYONE drives there have hard time getting in. Also housekeeping needs improvement. This hotel is on the beach. It is impossible not to bring sand into the room. If I didn't ask on day 3, I wouldn't know that all we get is "tidy up of beds & trash takeout". Rooms need to be vacuumed and moped every other day, again because we pay for RESORT FEES."
